Founder & Managing Director

The Founders & Managing Directors are Pippa Kaylene MBA & Kelly Kaylene (EYTS), who between them have over 20 years of childcare experience. Pippa is a designated safeguarding lead (Level 3), bringing a wealth of experience to the team. She holds an MBA, which complements her extensive background in business operations and management. Pippa is also fully qualified in paediatric first aid and has a strong commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in her care. Currently, she is working towards her Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification to further enhance her expertise in early childhood education. With her years of experience in leadership and operational management, she is dedicated to creating a nurturing and efficient environment for both children and staff. Her unique blend of business acumen, passion for safeguarding, and commitment to ongoing professional development makes her an invaluable asset to the Bloom Childcare Group.

Kelly, in 2015, achieved her Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), a prestigious qualification that recognises her expertise in delivering high-quality early childhood education. She is passionate about creating enriching and developmental experiences for young children, ensuring that every child is supported in reaching their full potential. Kelly is currently pursuing her doctorate in Early Childhood Studies, deepening her knowledge and understanding of the latest research and best practices in early education. In addition to her academic achievements, she holds a Level 3 Playwork qualification, which enhances her ability to design and implement playful, engaging learning environments. Kelly is also trained with a high-level safeguarding qualification, demonstrating her commitment to the safety, welfare, and emotional well-being of children in her care. Her expertise, combined with her ongoing academic pursuits, ensures that she remains at the forefront of early childhood education.

The Bloom Childcare Group has a highly experienced and qualified staff team and all staff have, or are training towards a minimum level 3 qualification.

All number of Bloom Childcare Group staff have senior responsibilities in different areas such as:

  • Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinators (SENCO)
  • Safeguarding children co-ordinators
  • Health and Safety Officers
  • Equality and Diversity co-ordinators
  • Behaviour Management co-ordinators
  • Early Years Foundation Stage co-ordinators
  • Fire Safety Officers

All staff have regular training through a continual professional development programme ensuring all staff are kept up to date with current legislation and best practice.
